These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Wixpa Google Analytics 4 (GA4) app for Shopify (the “App”), provided by Wixpa Feed (“Wixpa”, “we”, “us”). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the App on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business. Your use of Shopify remains subject to Shopify's own terms.
2. The service
The App connects your Shopify store to Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager, and sends storefront, checkout and order events to the accounts you configure. Features vary by plan and may change as we improve the App or as Shopify and Google change their platforms.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must have an active Shopify store and be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live. You are responsible for your Shopify and Google accounts, for keeping credentials secure, and for all activity under your installation.
4. Plans, trials and billing
The App offers a Free plan (up to 1,000 sessions) and a paid Cup of Coffee plan at US$2.99 per month. The paid plan includes a 7-day free trial; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically.
All charges are billed in US dollars through Shopify's billing system and recur every 30 days, together with any applicable taxes. You can change or cancel your plan at any time by downgrading or uninstalling the App. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; the new price applies from your next billing cycle.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the IDs and settings you enter; for complying with privacy, cookie and marketing laws that apply to your store, including showing a cookie notice, obtaining consent where required and disclosing your use of Google Analytics in your store's privacy policy; for complying with Google's terms and policies, including the Google Analytics Terms of Service; and for reviewing that your reports look correct after setup.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to break any law; send personally identifiable information such as names, emails or phone numbers to Google Analytics in breach of Google's policies; reverse engineer, copy or resell the App; interfere with its security or performance; or use it to collect data without a lawful basis.
7. Third-party services
The App depends on Shopify and Google services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their availability, for changes to their APIs, or for how they process data or calculate reports. Differences between Shopify and GA4 figures can arise from ad blockers, consent choices, sampling, attribution models and Google's own processing.
8. Data and privacy
You own your store data and the analytics data in your Google accounts. You grant us a limited licence to process that data only to provide the App. For shopper personal data we act as your processor and handle it as described in our Privacy Policy and, where required, our data processing terms [link to DPA].
9. Intellectual property
The App, including its software, design and documentation, belongs to Wixpa Feed and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for your store while these Terms are in effect. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you. Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager are trademarks of Google LLC; Shopify is a trademark of Shopify Inc.
10. Support and availability
Free plan users receive email support; paid plan users also receive live chat support. We aim to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may carry out maintenance or updates. When our team helps configure your store, you remain responsible for approving and reviewing the changes.
11. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that all events will be captured, that analytics figures will match Shopify exactly, or that the App will produce any particular business result.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising from these Terms or the App is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Wixpa Feed against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or data you collect or send through the App without a lawful basis.
14. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if Shopify or Google end our access to their platforms. On termination your licence ends and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new date and notify you of material changes. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept them.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer or business protections in your country.
